BID FAREWELL TO DEPRESSION

Depression is a disease that often leads to other health problems and, therefore, requires proper treatment. The term depression is used when a person feels constantly low and unhappy.  The melancholy state of mind gives way to mood swings, over-eating, anger, frustration and low confidence.

A few decades before, shock treatment was used to cure depression. Later, anti depressants and numbing pills replaced the agitating healing method. However, both shock treatment and medication have adverse affects on health. They are not completely reliable as well as they are only successful in subsiding depression temporarily. The patient becomes dependent on medication and treatment for years. Therefore now, psychologists agree that aesthetic treatment is most reliable in curing depression permanently.

It is very important for a person to be happy and comfortable in the surroundings he lives in. The environment plays a major role in shaping up a person’s lifestyle and if one is determined to get rid of the gloominess, his needs a positive outlook towards life. Everyone reacts differently to situations, for example, some people may think that spring is the season of colours but others might get irritated by the warm weather. To maintain a healthy relationship with those around them, it is vital that a person maintains his individuality by surrounding himself with elements that uplift his mood, so his mental state will be stable.

Once a person has come to terms with his lifestyle, his attitude towards the world can be transformed. Instead of withdrawing from the society because he feels inferior and upset, he can attempt to participate in daily activities without being bitter, which will further affect his mind positively.
